About ABIEdu

ABIEdu is an academic platform supporting universities, colleges, faculty members, students, researchers and libraries — and the operator of StudentsToCareer. We are looking for a creative, self-driven marketer to grow both brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and manage ABIEdu's social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), including a simple content calendar.
  • Create and schedule posts, graphics and short videos promoting ABIEdu courses, microcredentials and StudentsToCareer.
  • Write and send email campaigns and newsletters to students, faculty and institutional contacts.
  • Support student sign-up campaigns for the StudentsToCareer pilot, including on-campus and online promotion.
  • Improve basic SEO for ABIEdu and StudentsToCareer pages (titles, descriptions, content suggestions).
  • Monitor engagement and traffic analytics and adjust content based on what works.
  • Assist with marketing materials for events, partnerships and course launches.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Submit a weekly marketing report to the CEO covering activity, reach, engagement and sign-ups.
  • Perform other related marketing duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Studying or recently graduated in marketing, communications, business, digital media or a related field.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Strong written English and an eye for clear, professional content.
  • Hands-on with social media platforms and scheduling tools; comfortable with Canva or similar design tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing and analytics (Google Analytics or similar).
  • Organized, reliable and able to work independently to a weekly plan.
  • Experience promoting education, courses or events is an asset but not required.

Compensation and benefits

  • Compensation of $20 per hour (part-time, flexible hours).
  • Hybrid work — remote plus occasional meetings in Metro Vancouver.
  • Direct mentorship and regular guidance from the CEO.
  • Practical portfolio experience across social, email, SEO and campaign analytics in education technology.
  • Opportunity for continued employment based on performance and organizational requirements.
